I joined The Assembly of God Church School, Haldia in 2016 as the Vice Principal. Having spent the previous eight years teaching at GEMS Modern Academy in Dubai and prior to that a good 14 years at Pratt Memorial School, Kolkata.

After completing my Teachers Training Course in Loreto House, I pursued my Bachelor of Arts in English from the Indira Gandhi Open University graduating with a Major. I continued to pursue my higher education while teaching and completed my Post Graduation in English as well. While teaching in Dubai, I was trained to be a Communicator and completed the course and received a Certificate from Trinity Guild Hall, England as a Trained Communicator. I then went on to complete my Bachelor of Education.

I have now been teaching for 28years and my extensive teaching experience encompasses Grade I to Grade 12.

For me, teaching is not a profession but a calling. Each child is unique and special with different talents and aptitude. Your child’s education and well being is of utmost importance to me. I strongly believe in an educational experience that allows an all-round development of the child in today’s stimulating, diverse learning environment. We, as a school have moved to the 21^st century teaching and learning methods and I see in each child the potential to soar high, reach for the stars and achieve the attainable targets their teachers have set for them and set new goals for themselves.
