NOTICE TO PARENTS

23^rd March 2024

Dear Parents / Guardians:

Kindly note that school will re-open on 8^th April 2024 for the New Academic Year 2024 – 2025, for Classes LKG  to V and Special Unit.  It will be a half day. Reporting time – 07:50 am. The dispersal timings are given below.

Nursery students will join on 18^th April, 2024.  Parents of Nursery will assemble with their child/ward in the main sanctuary at 18/1, Royd Street, Kolkata – 700 016 at 8:30 A.M.

TEXTBOOKS – Distribution of Text, Exercise books and Synthetic Covers will be distributed from Royd Street premises for all classes (Classrooms in the basketball court area) Details are given below.

*LUNCH HOUR – 1:00 PM TO 2:00 PM

*The timings mentioned above are subject to change.

Key points: –

• School will finish as per the timings given above.
• Warning slips will be issued if escorts fail to pick up their child/ward on time.
• Parents of Classes I to V are requested to leave their ward at the gate in the morning and collect them from the respective dismissal area after school.
• You are not permitted to go to the classroom without obtaining permission from the school office.

School Uniforms (Nursery to Class 5 & Special Unit)

All students must wear the prescribed uniform when the school is in session. For boys, black leather belts, black well-polished leather shoes with laces (Naughty Boys / Cadet / Derby type) and black shoes. For girls, well-polished leather shoes with buckles (Ballerina type) with black socks. Students are expected to come neatly dressed to school every day.

P.T. Uniform

House Colour T-Shirt with printed Monogram, white shorts/skirts, white socks, white Power Keds or ordinary Keds. TRACK SHOES ARE NOT PERMITTED.

Winter Uniform – Navy blue cardigans and trousers for boys, and navy-blue leggings for girls to be purchased from our prescribed supplier.  Uniforms will be available at the above address.

Identity cards

• Identity cards must be brought to school every day, failing which gate passes will be issued against a fine of Rs.50/- only.
• You are requested to retain the old identity card of your child/ward until further notice.

Transport – Students from class 1 to class 5 can avail the school transport subject to the availability of seats. Please contact the school transport department from 28^th March 2024 onwards to avail the facility.

Students who have already availed transportation services during the 2023-24 session will be automatically extended to the 2024-25 session unless revoked by the parents. Kindly collect the renewal form from 28^th March 2024 onwards from the transport department.

Lunch – Students can avail the lunch facility from school. Please contact the Principal’s Office from 2^nd April 2024 onwards for availing the facility.

Students who have already availed the lunch facility during the 2023-24 session will be automatically renewed for the 2024-25 session unless revoked by the parents. Kindly collect the renewal form from 2^nd April 2024 from the principal’s office.

School Diary – Parents are requested to read the school diary when it is handed over to the student and sign in it thereafter.  A copy of the Case History and General Information Sheet attached in the diary is to be duly filled in and returned to the Class Teacher.

Appointment With the Headmistress – Parents/Guardians are permitted to meet the Headmistress on Tuesdays and Thursdays between 2.30 to 3.30 p.m. Only in an emergency, you can meet the Headmistress on any other day.

Summer Vacations – The summer vacation will commence from 11^th May 2024. The school will re-open on 10^th June 2023. It will be a full working day. Buses will ply.
